Date Night Houston uses date preference profiles, plan preferences, and a random session identifier to run the beta planner. The active app does not ask for an email address, create an account, or send a plan to a server for sharing or saving.

Plan sharing and saving

Sharing uses your device's share sheet when available, with a copy-to-clipboard fallback. Saving uses browser storage on your device, and text export creates a local download. These actions do not create a Date Night account.

Analytics

We track a limited allowlist of product events such as app page views, quiz starts and completions, generated plans, and successful share or save actions. Allowed properties are categorical or type-checked. Approved campaign parameters may be retained; approved referrers are reduced to a domain. Analytics rejects email addresses, arbitrary free text, full referrer URLs, and exact personal location. Session identifiers are pseudonymized before storage. Third-party browser analytics is disabled for this release.

Historical beta records

Older deployments may contain email rows collected by the former plan-email feature. New captures are disabled. Existing rows and backups are retained in place pending a separate disposition decision; this release does not access, export, migrate, or delete them.

Data requests

Use the data request page to ask for access or deletion. During beta this is handled manually.
